SlaveDriver

SlaveDriver locks to SMPTE time code and delivers text to TitleDriver for live high resolution subtitles.

SlaveDriver reads the STL title interchange file format, and commands TitleDriver via AppleEvents.

Designed for large format motion picture exhibitors where expensive prints are not availble with subtitles. SlaveDriver and TitleDriver combine to produce up to four separate simultaneous translations.

Assemble a set of titles in TitleDriver. Then record a single performance using TitleDriver Journal locked to your timecode source, and finally play back that performance using SlaveDriver.

SlaveDriver requires MTC (MIDI timecode) converter device to bring timecode into the computer. There is a free utility which converts LTC to MIDI using an audio input and no external hardware.
