Designed for use with Yamaha digital mixing consoles, CueDriver contains a database of thousands of different controllers for a growing list of consoles, which allows it to identify each controller you move by name. Add individual controller moves as cue elements, where each element shows clearly what control is being moved, and to what level.
CueDriver allows the operator to focus on listening, instead of being distracted by fader moves and parameter changes.
The software can perform "live" crossfades, meaning that the fader begins its move from wherever it is sitting at the moment
you hit "GO". CueDriver doesn't generally use scene preset recalls, or snapshot changes. Snapshot console memories that
perform an entire reset of the console are problematic; and you often only need certain functions to be automated.
For long term theatrical productions, CueDriver allows you to record custom cue elements for each performer and understudy
in your cast. Before each performance you swap performers in and out to create a unique set of cues tailored to each performer in that particular performance. Variations to cue order can be preprogrammed for different versions of a show.
